Move Allison and Sam
Content warning: violence, domestic violence
On the morning of October 7th, Allison's husband attacked her in their home. She was stabbed 8 times before she and her daughter, Sam, were able to escape from the apartment.
She is expected to make a full recovery but remains in intensive care.
While Allison is working on getting physically healthy, she is also focused on what comes next. Allison and Sam will not be returning to the apartment where this horrific attack occurred-- they will be starting over.
The funds gathered here will help with:
- Moving costs
- Storage fees during the housing transition
- Replacing items that were damaged in the struggle or those items that are too emotionally tied to the attack to be reused
- Expenses related to a long hospital stay
- Surplus funds will be donated to DAWN (http://dawnrising.org/)
