Move Mountains for Cassidy

Cassidy and her twin boys.
Cassidy is a mother of two who had married to her high school crush. She is a 2nd degree Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Carlson Gracie Jr. and a student under Christopher Griffin at Griffin Submission Academy and is also active in Crossfit.
Cassidy had a great Christmas with her family. Her husband had been having back problems and had been acting a strange for the past month or so and progressively got worse. She told him he needed to get professional help and that she would be moving back home to Louisville while he did so. Plans were made but the next day her whole life changed. She was awakened by her husband and after asking what he was doing standing over her he simply said, "this" and pulled a knife from behind his back and started stabbing her. Her husbands mother and fiancé were at the front door of the camper screaming for Cassidy to open the door. Cassidy fought her way to the door and was able to hit the latch just as she was falling. Before the mother in law could stop him, he jumped on Cassidy and stabbed her 3 to 4 more times and it was then the mother in law jumped on his back and had the fiancé restrain him. Cassidy was taken to the hospital where it was discovered she had been stabbed a total of 34 times as well as a fractured vertebrae due to the knife hitting her spine. Cassidy's two boys were there in the camper during this time. She fought for not only her life but the lives of her two sons. She will survive. She will recover physically but will always have the scars from that day. Of course he will go to prison for the rest of his life. Maybe a mental health facility. I'm not sure.
When asked why by the police he only said, "She was going to leave me and I can't live without her."
Can you imagine being attacked by someone with a knife? Add in the fact that the attacker was her husband. He did not hit her previous to this day. There were no "signs" that her husband would do anything like this.
Cassidy was continuing her education as a personal trainer. That will have to be put on hold. She was also a stay at home mother. Her whole life is different now but at least she has a life to live. I want to raise enough money to give Cassidy time to cope with what has happened and be able to make good decisions for herself and her babies futures. She will need a lot of help for down payment on a place, groceries, furniture, essential every day items, gas, electric, as well as someone she can talk to like a counselor or psychologist to help her deal with the emotional trauma that accompanies an incident such as this. Let's show Cassidy that we are here for her and give her the means to start fresh. She is a victim of circumstances and I want to give her the best start to a new, happy, and healthy life for her and her sons. Let's set the tone for the rest of their lives and set them up to overcome this tragedy.
Thank you from Amanda Steinbach & Christopher Griffin.
