The Muslim Youth Collective (MYC) is a justice-based organization in Indianapolis that works to train Muslims and allies on understanding and resisting Islamophobia, racism, colonization, white supremacy, and much more.
If you have ever benefited from our trainings and resources around Islamophobia, Palestine, Policing and Security, Bystander Intervention, and other resources MYC has offered to the community over the last two years, we need your help!
MYC currently runs on community funds, as well as with the support of the American Friends Service Committee. For the first time, this year we were able to offer small stipends to Muslim youth to train them to be effective and resilient organizers who will lead the resistance against Islamophobia, xenophobia, and all systems of oppression in Indianapolis.
The fellowship program has expanded MYC's work exponentially. We have been able to begin tackling huge issues in the Indianapolis Muslim community, such as mental health, hate crimes, community healing, and resisting policing/surveillance in our sacred spaces. To continue our work, we need to be able to fund more Muslim youth to lead our community, alongside other marginalized communities, to liberation. Funding these incredible fellows, who have already blown us away, is a means of funding and investing in a future of collective freedom.
