NEXT COMPETITION: NOV 21, 2015. FERRIGNO LEGACY.I undoubtedly want to make this passion a lifestyle. I want to continue competing, and I assure you that any contribution will help. Your assistance will aid me on the big stage and demonstrate the hard work that has led me there.
About a year ago, I decided to break up the monotony in life, and I decided to enter myself into my very first bikini competition. Since I've started investing in myself, I feel I'm in the best shape of my ENTIRE life .
Fitness literally changed my life for the better; I know that sounds like a cookie cutter statement , but it really has. Before gaining the knowledge from competing, I used to be on a very low calorie diet, and spend countless amount of hours in the gym, thinking training harder will get me lean. (Ah, what was I thinking) ? I've learned to train smarter, not harder & to fuel my body.
Competing has given me a whole new perspective on what fitness is all about. Everyone has their own definition on what being "fit is". Fitness to me is not about being better than someone else; it's about being better than what you used to be. Having that drive , determination, willpower, and the ability to realize that I can push my body beyond what I every thought capable.
I've learned that it's not about a trophy, a placing, or a prize. It's about setting goals, and making daily improvments. It's about structure and learning to trust the process.
Why compete, you ask? I compete to give myself a goal, to give myself structure, and to hold myself accountable, and to strive to be better than my former best. It's not always easy and NEVER quick, but in the end, IT'S ALWAYS WORTH IT.
I'm EXCITED to have you all by my side .
Thank you for the support. XOXO
