I humbly begin this by first saying, thank you for taking a minute of your time to even stop and read this heartfelt request for help. I've struggled with this decision to write this for MONTHS now. I can’t take the pain anymore and I've exhausted all my options, sold all possessions worth any monetary value and canceled any extras and unnecessary bills for some time now. But I just can't do it on my own. I'm scared and I'm running out of time to have several serious dental procedures done before this nerve disease gets further embedded in the roots of my teeth and affects my jawbone. Or it too will need to be surgically fixed, scraped, shaved and or parts removed if I can't get this serious dental work done soon!
As many of you know, for 15 years now I’ve been living with a nerve disease called RSD or often referred to nowadays as CRPS (Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome.) It causes extreme debilitating pain in the nerves of the body and can travel, spreading havoc, like being stabbed continuously with a knife and simultaneously being shocked from the inside out like down power lines electrocuting you. Its PAIN in your nerve endings. It's a feeling where you feel like your affected body part burns like its on fire from nerve damage. Myn started in my right leg and has traveled threw half my body affecting many of my nerve endings. The pain can come on out of nowhere and It can last for minutes or it can last for days! There is no cure and no magic pill to help ease my suffering. I have a Spinal Cord Stimulator implant in my hip and back with leads (or wires) that are fused up to my spinal cord to help relieve some of my leg pain. But this does not help any other part of my body. It now is traveled threw half the nerves in my body. At the moment and most significantly, my teeth and nerves in my roots which is what brings me here. The pain is relentless. And if you've ever had tooth pain, you can understand where I'm coming from and imagine that with over half of them! It cause me awful headaches, dizziness and sometimes nausea. I can’t eat many foods anymore. Sleep is only in short spurts. Its affected every aspect of my life. As a mother with children at home you can imagine how hard this can be on the entire household.
But there IS hope for me! I have found a great local dentist who is willing to work with me financially and is offering me the lowest possible prices. But unfortunately it's still unattainable for me. To receive this work I am looking to find a way to pay him. I am in desperate need of help and I know no other way than to publicly come out and ask for it. I’m humbled and embarrassed to do so, but here I am. I’m trying to save my teeth, but also my jaw bone, my facial structure and to alleviate this constant daily tooth pain. If you can find it in your heart to help, there are no words that I can express of thanks. If it’s something you can contribute too, there is not enough praise of thanks I can possibly offer to show how unbelievably appreciative I am! Thank you.
