KIDS WRESTLING TEAM TO NATIONALS

Based out of the Battle Arts Academy in Mississauga, the club’s Olympic-style wrestling team has already made a mark for itself at regional competitions, repeatedly carrying home Gold/Silver/ and Bronze medals in several of the sport’s junior age and weight categories. Extensively supported by the time and efforts of the parents of the competitors and their volunteer coaches, the group now has the opportunity to carry its successes to a higher level by participating in the Canadian National tournament happening in Quebec on the weekend of May 13-15 2016.

The challenge, of course is the mlogistical costs involved in such a venture. The coaches and parents are more than willing to undertake their responsibilities in terms of transporting, supervising and paying for the necessary costs associated with a trip of this magnitude we were looking at fund raising and donations.
