Rowan's 3D Printing Lab Fund

I'm Rowan!
Three years ago I went to Maker Faire and I was intrigued by the capability of 3D printers. Ever since then I have wanted to understand how to design and print my own ideas using 3D printers. I have done LOTS of research and learned how to use the 3D printing software. The hard part for me is saving enough money to buy a printer. I have worked very hard doing chores and saving as much as I can, but I am now asking for your help.
My hope is not to just print things for me. I want to start a business!
I plan on creating items for people and selling them cheaper than they can buy them at a store. Pens, propellers, trinkets, tools, toys....you name it, I will make it! To do that I will need the 3D printer, the monitor, the scanner and a recycler so that I don't waste any product.
I have learned that it is important to support others around me. To do that I am going to donate 10% of my profit to my school and charities that support kids in my community (like Social Advocates for Youth and MentorMe Petaluma). I am also hoping to teach a class to kids showing them how to use the software and use these tools themselves. It would be great if one day I could give them a printer from my business.
I would like to start this business by summer since I will have lots of time, so I am hoping you can help me this spring.
I am so thankful that you might be willing to help me.
Thank you!
