My Big Sisters

Donation protected
Earlier last month my big sister was shot twice with a 12 gauge shotgun by someone she never expected to harm her. With bullets still lodged in her lungs and seemingly endless surgeries on her face, shoulder, and back, she struggles with tasks as simple as breathing, walking and standing with her back to a stranger. Not only did this tragedy cause her permanent physical damage, it also caused her major mental trauma. Danielle is now forced to live with constant PTSD.

From family members to the medical staff, everyone is saying it’s a miracle that Danielle is still alive at all. With this second chance at life, she is determined to turn her life around to become the wholesome drug counselor she used to be before she made bad decisions. However, absolutely everything was taken away from her and she has to start with nothing. This is where we ask for your help.

It’s difficult to pick up the pieces when the pieces were swept away from under your feet. As another lost soul in an unforgiving world, Danielle wants nothing but to focus on healing and stabilizing her life. But instead she is forced to face desperation in mental, physical, and financial burden. To heal safely and efficiently, she has to attend counseling & doctor’s appointments every two weeks, but she does not have any funds or means of transportation from Klamathfalls to Portland. Therefore we are looking for any form of donations that can help her get back on her feet. This can range from gift cards for food, bus tickets for transportation, a phone, clothes, makeup, and of course any amount of funds that will help cover hospital bills since she does not have insurance.

Please give back to the community and use our story to help other victims to get out of the lifestyle of drug addiction. I am her personal testimony as to who Danielle used to be before drug addiction. She was a big sister to many. She was the one with all the advice. She took care of her family. She was the one that was clean and set a good example to us, and she always had everybody's back to the fullest. Now it's our turn to have her back in her time of need. With our help, she will use her scars to help the community as I did. I put my word on it.
