My children saved my life #myheros

On October 10th 2016 I, Alon Abare, mother of 4 beautiful brave children was involved in a gruesome accident when my hair got caught in my serpentine belt of my car. I was immediately pulled under the hood with such a force that I almost lost my left eye, my skull was fractured and I was left scalped in an instant. I was home alone with my children Troy 15, Logan Elizabeth 14, Samuel 12 and Joshua 10. Within seconds they all jumped into action freeing me from a near death experience. Their bravery and quick actions not only saved my life but prevented any further brain damage and helped me to keep my vision and an further injuries from occurring.

The vehicle that was involved in this terrible accident was our only family car, and since, has cost me thousands to try and fix. I have been out on medical leave and will be for quite some time due to surgeries and occupational therapy for my brain to heal. My children and family need a reliable 6 passenger SUV that we can all get around with. The children are involves in sports and extra curricular activities that require me to drive them to and from. I would love to be able to continue furthering their education and future career paths by encouraging them to participate in these great activities! I also need transportation to and from my doctors that is over an hour away and just be able to bring my children to the doctors with ease when they're sick.
I am asking for this money to purchase a vehicle for my children and myself to help better our lives. These four amazing kids deserve a vehicle that does not hold traumatic memories or pose a possible threat to anyone else's health.
