Disabled Writer's Book Mission

Donation protected
Hello, My name is Randy Hoyle. I'm a writer and I'm 62 years old and I've been disabled for the past seven years,                                                                                                               I suffer from chronic back pain in the lumbar region of my spine and that affects my legs. The problem with my spine has also moved up to my neck and it is affecting my arms.   However, it has not stopped me from pursuing my book mission.                                                        Years ago, I wrote a short novel called The Ballad of Dred scott. It was the story of a slave who sued for his freedom before the U.S. Civil War and how Abraham Lincoln bacame involed. It was based around a true story.                                                                                                                 Around. 2006, a friend of mine helped me print copies of my book.  With her help we managed to print five thousands copies of The Ballad of Dred Scott. She passed away. But before she died, she asked me to give the books to the public. She believed that in the long run it would help me become known.                                                       So, even though I suffered from a great deal of pain, I  would coach myself into walking up town. I mostly talked to people one on one. I shook hands literally with thousands of people. Some were young, some were old. I gave cases of books to the local library and groups like Habitat for Humanity and the local senior center. In all, I gave away more than forty five hundred books..                                                                      Somethings that were wonderful happed during that period of time. I met a lot of people. Made new friends that for me an introvert is not easy. I had gone out of my way to give books to young people who couldn't afford to buy books. Later on I learned that some of the students I gave books to used the books to make book reports for school. I was told that one high school teacher actually used my book to teach a day class.                        My book was used as a part of courses at two unversities, includeing the University of Delaware. It was also accepted into the Harvard Law School Library. The theme of my book is "Sometimes, even when you lose, you can still win if you do not give up on your dream."                                                                                                My problem is that I've ran out of books. I would like to publish a revised edition of The Ballad of Dred Scot. It will take money for printing and promoting the book to the public and the cost of writing expenses and equipment.                                                                                  Wouldn't you help me make this real. No amount is too small.  I'll never be able to repay you accept to continue my work.  I'm also looking for small publishers that would like to have their own printing edition of this work. The Ballad Of Dred Scott is still available in ebook form on the internet.                                                                          I would like to havemore of my books in colleges and universities. I would like to have more copies of my book in a library near you.  If you like what I am doing please like and share this post or re-tweet.                                     I want to thank you for considering my work. "May you always have the freedom to choose the path of reason. "                                                                                              Thank you and have a  great day, and tomorrow, may it be even better.                                                                                                                                       Much love- Randy Hoyle
