My Desert Marathon

I am Rob Marriott from the UK. I have chosen to take on the toughest foot race on Earth. 

I want to raise money for two charities that are very important to me.

I am running the 2017 Marathon des Sables to raise money for Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust and the Army Benevolent fund. It will entail 5 back to back marathons over 6 tough days in the heat of the Sahara Desert.

Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust do great work at the hospital in Cambridge and the money will go towards treatment for children with epilepsy.

The Army Benevolent Fund is the Soldier's Charity and they do amazing work with current and former servicemen who struggle with a variety of issues after serving our country.
