Prayers for Papa Packer

Hello Friends and Family! Those of you who know our Dad (Tom Packer), know that this time of year is when he has the opportunity to be apart of many families Christmas traditions and bless the life of children with his stories and love. As Father Christmas at the Dickens Festival for over 30 (plus) years, school teacher (for 30 plus years), counselor, Chinese chef, and so much more, he has come to be loved by countless people in Southern and Northern Utah.
This Christmas season he had to cut his visits short due to health issues. On December 17th he had to have unexpected Triple Bypass Open Heart Surgery and has spent about 2 weeks in the ICU at Dixie Regional Medical Center. Tonight we have just found out that he still has a leaking valve in his heart that has been also been causing severe breathing problems over the past few days. This new find will require him to be LifeFlighted to SLC tomorrow to have another procedure done by a surgeon at IMC on Wednesday.
While our "Papa Packer" continues to fight with each breath, we will continue to fight for him in any way we can. Mentually, spiritually, and financially. Any help would be greatly appreciated by the Packer family, as the medical expences will continue to grow on this next chapter of his fight.
We have seen many small miracles over the past few weeks and have felt the love and support from so many near and far. Prayers are greatly needed, prayers are so appreciated, for prayers are what's keeping us going.
Thank you for your love and support!!
