Longboarding across USA! SF TO NYC

Hey everyone!

I'm Danielius Narauskas, traveler and musician from Lithuania, Europe.

A few months ago I had a crazy idea to skateboard across the USA in the time it takes for my visa to expire - 90 days. I started planning and got advise from others that had completed similar journey's. I planned my route and started acquiring the kit I'd need for an amazing adventure. Training commenced. I bought my flight to San Francisco. Then I broke my arm and funds started drying up but I was committed! I got on that flight.

I left San Fran with just $200 to get me 5000km to NY and now, just over a week later and after a rocky start, I have about $100 left in my pocket. I'm camping wild and I'll busk for food but in reality, I have a very, very long way to go and I really need to get there!

Yes, maybe I'm crazy, but I'm sure this trip worth it! I've set myself a monumental challenge and without the encouragement I've received already, I even wouldn't be there where I'm right now. I will get there eventually but I just can't outstay my visa. Covering 65km a day on my longboard should get me there on time.

I have invested everything I own into this journey but it just wasn't enough. People suggested starting a crowd funding page and I'm looking to raise any amount I can in order to get the calories I need to finish this incredible skateboard trip across America.

I don't want to ask for more that a single dollar but GoFundMe has a $5 minimum. So, I just need a hundred people to spare a bit of change and make the impossible, possible. If you can pledge any amount, you will be part of an incredible story that I'm documenting along the way.

If I reach anywhere near my goal of $500, I'll give some volunteering time to my local charity on my return which will become part of the documentary.
