THIS IS THE REAL MAUGERVILLE/SHEFFIELD FLOOD RELIEF PAGE. PLEASE SHARE!
THE RIVER IS BACK IN THE RIVER, THE MASSIVE CLEAN-UP HAS BEGUN, BUT THE DEVISTATION KEEPS SHOWING IT'S UGLY FACE!
This is the flood relief campaign set up by Markus Harvey, the pretend Mayor of Maugerville and the underwear wearing, flood thief chasing guy. It is overseen by the non-profit Maugerville Flood Relief Crew committee of Lisa Jones (Maugerville) and John Pomeroy (Sheffield).
We've had a flood. Not just your run of the mill, close the roads for a couple of days flood, but one that would make Noah crap his pants! It came so quick that the only thing I could save was two birds and roll of toilet paper. The power went out...no running water...septic back up and a droning generator that drove me so crazy, I was talking to lamps.
...and I got off easy. The flood waters didn't come into my house. I'm going to have thousands in damage and I'm lucky.
Cows had to leave their homes by the hundreds. Goats and sheep were living on pool decks and the chickens and geese are still in the garage! The water has gone down and now we're playing games like; 'Is that a lump of flood crap or a Chrysler Intrepid?' Where's Waldo? Hell....where's my shed!
Many homes have been lost, property, vehicles, farm equipment and more. It's estimated that the cost of flood recovery will be $80million. Damages to local residents and many of the hardest hit will have thousands of dollars in out of pocket expenses to cover damage and loss.
Please help our families get back home and the cows back into the barn.
A non-profit group has been established to make sure that all money raised goes to help the people of our community rebuild.
Thanks to everyone for your support! Please Keep Sharing this campaign with everyone you know.
Thank you.
