NCR Camp Fire Victims

The Camp Fire started in the early morning hours on November 8. The fire spread rapidly toward Paradise and other outlying communities prompting evacuations. Many fled with little or nothing or were unable to return to retrieve their belongings, not knowing whether their homes and their families homes were lost.
Within the North Central Region alone, 22 Department of Fish and Wildlife staff have been impacted by the Camp Fire and many are still evacuated. At least 6 staff have lost their homes, vehicles and belongings and many more have close family who lost homes as well.

These people are not just our colleagues, they are family. I am starting this GoFundMe campaign to help these individuals rebuild their lives. Our contributions will bring them comfort and healing and a means to meet their basic needs, if not more. Please help them find relief in the face of this tremendous tragedy by donating now.
