Nefeli's Olympic Journey~Tokyo 2020

Hi everyone, my name is Nefeli Papadakis and I created this gofundme page to try and raise money to use towards my travel and training expenses to qualify for the 2020 Olympic games in Tokyo in the sport of judo. I compete in the -78 kilo division and am ranked #1 in the US for my weight, and am ranked 17th in the world for my weight.
Some of my biggest recent accomplishments include:
-5th place at 2015 Cadet world championships
-GOLD medal at 2017 Iliadis Junior European Championships
-GOLD medal at 2017 Senior National Championships

I have also represented the United states on several different team events, including
-2014 Junior world team (Miami, FL)
-2015 Cadet world team (Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina)
-2015 Junior world team (Abu Dhabi, UAE)

Traveling expenses add up very quickly in the Olympic qualification period and the donations from this will help me travel to the Panamerican Open in Santo Domingo, the European Open in Serbia, and the Grand Prix in Zagreb.
I have been competing in judo since I was four years old and it has always been my dream to go to the Olympic games. I know that my dream is within reach with a little help financially so any amount donated is greatly appreciated and will help make my dreams come true. Thanks for all the support and go USA!
