Nelson was born in New Jersey and raised in Puerto Rico. He was a very happy and upbeat person who loved Salsa music, dancing, spending time with family and friends, and cooking (especially barbecue). Nelson was the father of Jose, Miguel, Kristy, Alexia, Josue, Milca and Anthony, and granddaughter Naomi. He suffered a heart attack and passed away very suddenly on June 14, 2019. The family is in shock and struggling to cope. Funeral plans are still being arranged and any updates will be posted on this page.
