NerdWriter NeedsWheels
Don protégé
Many of you in internet-land are familiar with @Nerdwriter. She is a wonderful twitter friend, engaging and always ecouraging. She is a writer, a soccer fan, and the Godmother of my son who turns one next week.
Many of you also know she was in a car accident on 10/13/15. By the Grace of God she was not seriously injured, a few bumps and a banged up knee. Her guardian angel was on duty and kept her safe.
Unfortunately, her car did not get off as easy. The front end is done for. As a result of the impact the engine was damaged. The driver who ran a red light at full speed was uninsured. Coverage on Emmy's side will not pay to repair or replace the car. The repairs would cost considerably more than replacing the car. Emmy and her mother greatly rely on their car to get them to work, and will be in a serious bind if they cannot find a new(to them) and reliable car quickly. Public Transportation is not accomodating to their schedules and area of the country.
Any money raised will go to the purchase of a car. The more we raise, the more quality of a car she will be able to purchase. The funds will also be used to pay for any fees associated with getting the car registered. Should their be leftover funds after purchasing and registering the car they will go towards auto insurance premiums.
I am asking you all to consider whether you might have just a little extra somewhere in your pockets to help out one of our sisters. If you are unable to contribute financially, please pray for them.
Thank you so much for your prayers and donations. Know you are all in our prayers as well.
