Neuro treatment for dwarf cat Tayto
Donation protected
Hi! We are desperately seeking any help towards providing our 8 month old dwarf cat Tayto with the neurological help she needs. Along with being a “perma kitten” like other cats like Lil Bub and Grumpy Cat, Tayto has developed neurological issues which is causing her to lose the ability to walk. Tayto has been referred to Veterinary Hospital. Here she will undergo an initial consultation (£175) followed by an CT scan (prices start from £820). Our local vet believes due to Tayto’s condition, as she grows only slightly larger as time goes by that her brain is being compressed by her skull as she is not developing like a regular kitten. This compression is preventing neurological signals from her brain to her legs and she is no longer able to tell her legs to move. Tayto is only 8 months old and should be able to run freely just like a regular kitten. We adopted her as she was unwanted in her previous home due to her simply being different. We greatly appreciate any help either financially or just by sharing Tayto’s story. Unfortunately our insurance will not cover us. I will post all invoices and updates as and when we receive them.
