New Band Uniforms for Bethel HS, OK

Bethel High School, a 4A high school in rural central Oklahoma, is seeking your help to purchase new band uniforms. Their current uniforms are ten years old and are beginning to show signs of wear and tear.

Due to the public school funding crisis in Oklahoma, a purchase of this size is not possible without outside assistance. The band and its booster program currently spend time and energy on fundraising projects to help pay for operational expenses and different performance opportunities. Raising funds for new uniforms would take several years.

Despite the funding issues, the band program is one of the most successful small school bands in the state. The marching band, jazz band and concert band all compete and perform at a high level. Last year, the band earned the coveted OSSAA Sweepstakes Band award, which is equivalent to a state championship in sports.
