New cat shelter
Donation protected
Our cat shelter helps hundreds of cats each year. Cats that are abandoned in different ways. They starve, are sick or are injured or all of the above.
Help us give this cats a chance – cats don’t have nine lives.
For 10 years, Cecilia has struggled to rescue and find new homes for abandoned and abused cats. Cats that are left on the roadside, thrown out with the garbage or left to starve by the summer house when the family goes home.
At the same time she educates cat owners about the necessity to castrate their cat and also the importance to give the cat an ID with a chip, so the cat easily can be reunited with their owner in case the cat got lost.
Cecilias cat shelter is in dire need of renovation, and her economy just barely keeps them afloat month by month. She has mortgaged her home for this project, but there is still money that needs to be raised to get the project afloat.
Meet Cecilia - A woman with passion, drive and a dream. Here with 21 year old Linnea.
In a modern society NO cat should have to starve, be left to fight for it life, be hurt or abandoned by people it had given its love and trust to. Or be euthanised just because it has became inconvenient.
Cecilias shelter has a no-kill-policy. No cat is ever euthanised unless it is very sick or injured and can not be helped with medicines or an operation. Even senior cats over 15 years or older, cats that are blind or in other ways considered to be damaged – are socialized and successfully adopted by loving people.
Meet some of the abandoned cats she has taken in her home.
Help Cecilia give these cats a chance by funding the expansion of her shelter and the renovation of the buildings. Give Cecilia a fresh start so that she can create cash generating activities such as a cat café, pet accessories shop and a small pro bono veterinary clinic.
We want to collect SEK 3 500 000 to help Cecilia take the leap. Are you with us? Are you with the Cats?
The shelter is also a place for people of all ages to meet and to intermingle.
Take a look around the shelter and meet some of her guests.
