NewBotics101 trip to Detroit, USA

We are a group of 12-15 year old students from Newcastle Academy, a school in Newcastle under-Lyme. Recently on the 15th March 2019 we took part in the UK's first ever First Tech Challenge. The challenge consisted of young engineers, designers and programmers building and programming a robot which would undergo a range of activities. Our team battled through difficulties and challenges to win the Inspire award. The inspire award is the overall reward for being the most gracious competitors for each aspect of the competition. With winning this award our team has the once-in-a-life-time opportunity to compete at the world championships in Detroit, USA. We are currently trying to raise funds towards the cost of this trip including transport, accommodation, uniform for each day of the competition and for resources for the robot to help us to prepare for the championships.  Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help us and any spare funds will be donated to our school's chosen charity.
