Nicholson Home Recovery Fund

Today a Category 2 Tornado touched down in Ottawa, ON Canada. Among the thousands of families affected by property damage, the Nicholson family of Todd, his wife Emily, and their 2 children, have lost their home. Many families have been affected, and displaced tonight. And all are in need of compassion right now, and support.

My name is Matt. I have known Todd Nicholson personally for 20 years. I genuinely cannot think of a single memory of him in which he wasn't smiling, or laughing and bringing joy to the people around him. He is a former captain of Canada's National Paralympic Sledge Hockey team, and recently Canada's chosen Chef de Mission in the games in  Peyong Chang earlier this year.  And I can't think of a better person to represent us as Canadian athletes with disabilities to the wider world. He is a friend to many, a passionate, dedicated person

Donations to this gofundme will go entirely (100%) toward the Nicholson family's rebuilding / resettling costs. Any amount you are able to spare, I know will be appreciated by Todd, Emily, and their children. As they rebuild their home and their lives, they have not yet begun to count the costs financially. This is intended entirely to help the Nicholson family with their costs, and the amount raised will go entirely to the family.
