Nicky Cumberland Medical Expenses

Nicky Cumberland was in a critical car accident on the morning of September 30th.  He has been unresponsive and in the ICU since then, fighting for his life. Nicky is currently on life support with a slight improvement in his lungs since the accident, but he has unfortunately remained unresponsive with very little brain activity. 
Anyone who has the privilege of meeting Nicky is immediately affected by his personality. He has always thought of others before himself, and he is the very definition of the word "selfless". He loves everyone he meets, and everything he does. He approaches life with joy and a sense of adventure, and he never fails to find the silver lining when times get tough. Nicky always puts others first, and he is there whenever his friends, family, classmates, or even strangers need him. It is now our turn to be there for him. As you can imagine, the toll on his family has piled up as each day passes. No matter the outcome, they will be left with tremendous medical bills. With this small donation we can try to repay his incredible kindness, although it can never amount to the impact he has had on everyone who knows him. All funds raised will be given to Nicky's best friend and older sister, Alexandra,  to help pay for all of Nicky's medical bills. 

Nicky is more than just my best friend; he’s my brother. He was my first friend when I transferred from private to public school in 6th grade, and we have done everything together since then: we played football, acted in theatre, produced videos for broadcast journalism class, played rugby, did cheerleading in high school, jumped out of a plane, and pledged the same fraternity together. We even won the high school superlative for best bromance. Nicky is my dearest friend and I love him so much. Please keep him and his family in your prayers during this time.
