Nico Grossi

This is Nico Grossi. He has been a dear friend to me for the past 7+ years. As many of you may know, he was driving to work the morning of February 8th and was involved in a severe head-on collision. He was airlifted from the scene to a nearby hospital and is currently suffering from traumatic injuries. His medical team had to amputate his left leg above the knee in order to keep him alive and have identified at least 25 fractures throughout his face and body. His other leg and both of his arms are also broken. He lost a lot of blood and has had transfusions equaling about 3x his natural volume. He is heavily sedated and won't be awake for at least a couple weeks, hooked up to a ventilator which is a form of life support that is breathing for him, and at high risk for infection. It is going to be a long road to recovery with many expensive surgeries that lie ahead.

Any contribution is greatly appreciated and will be used towards medical bills (including the air lift, emergency amputation surgery, cost of prosthetic leg, future physical therapy and other necessary procedures) not covered by insurance. I will do my best to keep you guys updated on this page as much as possible and will be attaching a video explaining more later this week. Nico comes from a tight-knit Italian family and is a loyal son, brother and boyfriend.  He means a lot to a lot of people and is very lucky to be here and making significant improvements.
