Help us bring CARE back to Healthcare

Tax deductible
Our non-profit Mission is to provide donated pharmaceuticals to other non-profit free clinics to facilitate the flow of free or low-cost medications to the medically under-served, low income, or rural areas of the country where inexpensive medication alternatives are harder to find.  We want to provide everyone with opportunities and access to their medications, regardless of their financial abilities, while bringing Care back to healthcare.

NITE Foundation is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 2017 dedicated to providing Neurology services, Innovations, Technology, and Education.  Our pharmaceutical division, SanRio Health, will provide free or reduced cost pharmaceutical drugs/devices to independent pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare nonprofits.

As a nonprofit, fully licensed Pharmaceutical Wholesaler in 5 states so far, we will be taking in donated money or drugs from manufacturers and other distributors and then working with local non-profit clinics to distribute those free medications out to the patients who really need inexpensive medication options.  Our goal is to increase access to costly lifesaving medications through our distribution partners here in the state and eventually the rest of the country.  We look to provide lower cost products through our relationships with drug manufacturers, other wholesalers, PBMs, and distributors.  This can be accomplished by giving 501(c)(3) tax credits to providers for drug products donated or purchased at a reduced price.  The savings on these medications will be passed directly on to the free clinics, pharmacies, and hospitals so they can provide medicine to the patients who so desperately need them for free or at a reduced price.

An estimated $5 billion worth of usable medicine goes to waste each year in the United States—yet 50 million Americans report not being able to afford taking their medications as prescribed.  Americans’ medication non-adherence results in an estimated 125,000 annual deaths and costs up to $289 billion annually. The act of wasting that $5 billion of usable medicine each year also has consequences for Americans, polluting air and water supplies, and resulting in the duplicate purchasing and manufacturing of drugs to meet patient needs—which could otherwise be met by drawing on that $5 billion medication surplus.

Much of the surplus unused medicine wasted each year resides with healthcare companies and organizations, such as with long-term care facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesalers, and pharmacies. Because these surplus medications remain in institutional settings throughout their life cycles, their integrity is carefully maintained by trained healthcare professionals. Patients who cannot afford to purchase the prescriptions they need could greatly benefit from having access to these safe, unexpired, and unopened medications that otherwise go to waste.  There is currently no other company in the US that operates as a non-profit drug wholesaler, this allows us to take in very large donations and legally and safely store the medications until they are needed.

We are seeking further startup funds to help purchase the required inventory software, 2 computers, 2 UPC/NDC hand-held scanners, and a portable UPC code label printer.  The Inventory software is the costliest but also most important part of our business so we can track each bottle and make sure no counterfeit medications make it into the supply chain.

Once the software and equipment is purchased we can start receiving and shipping medications to our clients and other non-profit organizations to be distributed to those patients in need of help.  Every little bit helps, even $10 would provide enough medications for a month supply for several patients.  Please consider giving today so that we can make a difference in the lives of thousands of people, and help them retain dignity and feel cared for.
