Let's Help Jimmy Reilly

Jimmy is struggling with Multiple Myeloma, a blood cancer due to the effects of 9/11.  His family's financial situation is pretty dire. While he's gotten assistance from his family and some friends, he doesn't want to continue to be a drain on them while he fights. His wife was injured at the end of last year, and they lost six weeks' worth of income. His own sole support is short-term disability payments from work, which just isn't enough to carry him and his family through this nightmare. His medical insurance, while great, had some out-of network restrictions. His medical debt at this point numbers in the thousands. He's struggling to keep food on the table, and the bills keep coming. Financial aid and a Student Loan have taken the pressure off somewhat while his son attends school in Florida. They were so afraid that Thomas wouldn't be able to finish school. Again, his family lent a hand, but Jimmy cannot continue to be a burden to them.

Can we join together and lend a hand to Jimmy? The funds will be used to help pay some of the outstanding medical expenses, as well as help Jimmy take care of his family. He wants to work, but has not been medically cleared to do so. It frustrates him to be in a position to need help, but pride has to take a back seat, right?
