Service trip to New Orleans

Our New Orleans Service Learning club is focusing on a weeklong trip to New Orleans, Louisiana (NOLA), all while doing local community service to help our own backyard of Biddeford, Maine.
Our club is composed of students dedicated to improving and helping out the community. We work with local organizations such as food pantries and animal shelters to help and get to know the community members. We plan on working with many similar organizations once in New Orleans to do the same: work with and help out as many people as possible.
We learn people's stories, find out about their lives, and try to make their day-to-day a little better. We learn about ourselves, our community, our world we live in, and we try to improve them.
To reach our goal of getting to New Orleans during our spring break, we need as much help as possible. Ideally, I don't want to have to ask the hard working members of this club to have to pay anything out of pocket. We hope to be able to pay for this trip through fundraising alone.
We are asking that you help out in any way that you can, either by donations, spreading the word about our cause, or just sending us positive thoughts.
