Norigami--home of the original sushi seaweed taco.
We started off as a 10 foot booth at festivals and special events such as OC Night Market and 626 Night Market, serving up our original sushi tacos with crispy seaweed shells. Check out our Facebook and Instagram to see pics of our food.
We never expected to take off as well as we have. From news coverage by Foodbeast, LA Weekly, etc. to the fact that people from San Francisco or San Diego come to LA to try our sushi tacos is amazing!! Our customers are what drive us to hustle at these events and work 15+ hours a day!
Now it's time for Norigami's first brick and mortar shop! We will be situated in Orange County and plan to open by May 2017, just in time for our 1st anniversary. Even though we have been doing well as a pop-up shop and have been saving up for a brick and mortar, there are a lot of costs and expenses in starting a restaurant.
Some of the costs include:
--rent
--licenses/permits
--interior design
--exterior design
--kitchen equipment
--wages
--insurance
--food costs
Each of these costs run into the thousands of dollars. We are a new family with a 1 year old baby and personal bills eat up our earnings. We need YOUR help to get Norigami open so everyone can enjoy our sushi tacos! We have found a great place settle into and would like to purchase it as soon as possible. Your appreciation and support this past 9 months mean the world to us. We started this business as a dream of chasing our passions and now we want a concrete place where we can show you our passions and creativity.
