United Way King County Day of Caring
Northgate Elementary School
Northgate Elementary School values community engagement and receives assistance from a variety of local organizations and volunteers. Our non-profit Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) just began last year. The PTO is currently working in collaboration with United Way of King County's Day of Caring, on a Bathroom "Paint-a-Palooza" service project. Our students’ bathrooms are in dire need of a fresh coat of paint. Our plans include painting vibrant hues of blue, green, yellow, red, and purple and a mural of empowering words in a variety languages. 20 Microsoft volunteers have commited to accomplishing our goal. Still, we have very limited finances and need your help to cover the cost of supplies.
