Nous Fé: Haiti Medical Service Trip
Donation protected
Angel Wings International (AWI) has a simple but meaningful mission: Improve the health and well-being of the underserved communities in Haiti. Nous Fé is the Northwestern chapter of Angel Wings International. As a global medical service organization, Nous Fé is seeking donations to provide for medications that will be distributed in health clinics across Haiti, as well as to support the Northwestern Nous Fé team’s travel to Jacmel, Haiti during the summer of 2019.
Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, and a significant portion of its population lacks sufficient access to comprehensive healthcare. For rural communities located in the mountains and valleys surrounding the city of Jacmel, AWI’s medical teams are the residents’ only source of access to basic healthcare.
Six years ago, a group of Cupertino High School students in California partnered with Angel Wings International and founded the Healing Haiti project, in which a group of 10 students traveled to Haiti each year in order to provide basic healthcare services for underserved communities in Haiti. After these students graduated, they continued to lead AWI service trips at their colleges, helping to keep AWI clinics staffed during the year.
As Nous Fé embarks on their first medical service trip this summer, we are looking to raise money to provide for medications, lodging, food, and travel for the medical teams and patient populations in Haiti. The money raised from your donations will go directly to Angel Wings International.
Please join us in our endeavor to provide care and empower the patient population of Jacmel, Haiti. Any and all support is greatly appreciated!
