Nugent Family Fund

I met Jason in high school and later connected with Nita years later when our children were in the same homeschool group in Ashtabula. Their daughter, Selah, joined my Girl Scout troop when she was a Daisy and I have had the pleasure of watching the Nugent children grow for several years now.
They are a wonderful family with an amazing faith. I was absolutely heartbroken when I heard tragedy had struck this beautiful family.
Jason and Nita need our help as today they make arrangements to bury their 16 year old son, something no parent should ever have to do.
Please donate if you can and share with others so they can have once less burden as they lay their son to rest.
"On August 21st our family went from having a fun time playing in the shallow waters at the end of an amazing summer, to the sobering reality that our lives are fleeting.
As any parent would, we'd trade places with our Micah, without hesitation. But we would not deny him his place in the kingdom of heaven.
On the 21st we prayed in faith, with all the saints, so many with great faith who know the power of Jesus' sacrifice, to heal Micah. To raise him up. This was our desire, for Micah to be fully restored here on earth.
All effort was made to preserve Micah's life in both the natural ability of mankind from police, and paramedics on scene to the doctors and staff at ACMC, LifeFlight, and MetroHealth Hosital and in the power of God's saints praying around the world in God's Spirit and in faith.
On August 22nd about 4:00 am Micah's doctors informed us that all of his vital organs, including his brain were failing. They had come to the end of their power to help.
They lovingly pleaded with us to place Micah into the hands of our Father.
Shortly after 9:00am Micah passed from life on earth to everlasting life in heaven.
With great sorrow and great faith we released our will into God's hands. And we prayed, believing in God's healing power to come and fill our sweet son, Micah.
We prayed for a miracle, for that was the only outcome our hearts could allow.
But Micah is our miracle. From the moment of his conception, to his birth, to his rebirth and every moment in between, even to that moment, Micah has always been our miracle from God. It was an honor and a privilege to have raised Micah into the amazing young man that he is."
