Nullification revision
Donation protected
My name is Adam Curlykale (Instagram: @adam.curlykale). I come from Poland. My body has been covered in 90% using a blackwork tattoo technique due to skin diseases after a colon cancer. I have always felt a nullo person, a person existing between male and female. The first stage of my nullification transition was removal of my nipples and navel. 5 weeks ago in Mexico in Guadalajara I underwent a nullification surgery which means removal of genitals. A very long return trip and a general weakness and fatigue after the surgery caused serious health complications: excessive bleeding during the surgery, gastroenteritis due to strong medications, throwing up bile, dissolvable stitches in urethral area split, anal hemorrhoids, being unable to urinate without a catheter (after 7 days a catheter had to be reinstalled again and this time I had to use a catheter for the next 3 weeks ). Catheter reinsertion caused further excessive bleeding that is continuing until today. After a series of private doctor appointments I was informed that in my body there is a serious infection of urinary tract and prostate. Finally the catheter got removed 1 week ago. There is a high risk that my urethra will close up completely. During a private consultation, an urologist specialist made an incision of the urethra due to its eversion in the external parts. This procedure was only a temporary solution. According to my surgeon a further revision of nullification will be necessary. It will include: removal of excessive skin, correction of urethra (the urethra needs to get reattached to the tissue), scar removal.
I was admitted to NHS hospitals (Royal London Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital) twice within 2 weeks. Unfortunately I was not offered a sufficient medical help. The main reason for that was the fact that the nullification surgery is illegal in whole Europe. No doctor wants to bear resposibility. Instead of helping me I was asked about my mental state. I was discharged home and at the moment there is still a severe ongoing infection and urethral bleeding.
The costs of the revision include:
- travel costs (connected flights will be around 2000 pounds ),
- hospital costs (operating room, anaesthetist etc will be around 1000 pounds),
- accommodation costs (hotel room for at least 2 weeks of recovery will be around 1000 pounds),
- nursing service (for at least 2 weeks will be around 500 pounds),
- medications and ntravenous therapy will be around 500 pounds.
The surgeon will perform the nullification revision for free.
I live in London and so far my private medical costs have added up to several thousand pounds. I do not have any savings and my health condition is not improving. I still am throwing up on a daily basis and I am not able to sleep at all due to a sharp strong continuous pain and available painkillers are not working which can be a consequence of a colon cancer 9 years ago (that required chemo- and radiotherapy). At the moment I am being treated privately with steroids.
Without Your help I will not be able to cover ongoing and future medical costs. I need your help now but the gofundme collection will run for the next 2 months.
You can follow my whole journey on my Instagram, Facebook and Youtube channel: mimochodem. You can also contact me by email: [email redacted].
Please do not judge me. My whole life I have been struggling with my gender and the health consequences of cancer. I only want to be happy and feel good in my own body.
