CONTRIBUTE TO NURSE EDUCATION

After serving in the United Kingdom in the National Health Service (NHS) for 15 years, in addition to 10 years of earlier service in the health system and medical practice in The Gambia, I decided to found this college with the aim of transferring my personal skills, and those of other professionals in the college teaching staff, to young men and women who aspire to become NURSES in The Gambia and other parts of Africa.
The Vision of College is to be a champion in provision of innovative, quality and result-oriented teaching and coaching methods to produce skilful, technically competent and self-motivated nursing and health professionals capable of serving in a highly demanding work environment. The college’s Mission is to provide an affordable and accessible yet technically competitive professional education attractive to aspiring young professionals. Our core values include to instil in our learners personal conviction to caring for the sick, saving lives without bias, to commit to ethics, self-denial and excellence. Our main objective is to satisfy the healthcare market with competent, well prepared nurses and other healthcare and medical support services technocrats on continuous basis; thus saving parents, guardians and governments the cost of sending such cadres pursue such studies abroad.
In establishing the College, we have so far invested an initial capital of £6000 pounds which was mainly expended in legal and registration fees of the college and to cover transportation and logistics costs. Our cash flow projection amounts a total of £40,000 for full take off and operations of the initial training programmes.
