Help Hannah Serve Youth in Honduras

Donation protected
I really love Martin Luther King. He was an imperfect man, but he lived out a life serving others: fighting for justice, unity, Christian compassion, and reconciliation between all peoples. And now you’re wondering if I’m crazy, because wasn’t this supposed to be about Honduras? It is. But it may be more about serving. Over the past couple years God has been calling me to serve youth at risk in Honduras (such a long story!), and now I finally have the opportunity to go and answer that call. On February 29, I will be moving to Balfate, on the Northern Coast of Honduras, to serve at the Sanctuary House Children’s Center of the Loma de Luz Hospital and the Cornerstone Foundation. Hospital Loma de Luz provides foster care and therapy for children and teens on the Northern Coast of Honduras through the services of Sanctuary House. The Sanctuary House serves children who need to access education, are sick or have special needs, and have been rescued from violence on the streets. I will work specifically doing trauma-care therapy and occupational therapy with the teens and the children with special needs on site.

Martin Luther King (back to him again) said, “Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” You don’t all have to drop your lives and move to Honduras to serve, but we can all serve. I can’t do this alone; I need your prayers and your support. So, I am inviting you all to come on this journey with me by supporting me. I would be so grateful! God is doing an amazing work in Honduras, and I look forward to updating you on the progress there. If you wish to donate and support me, you can do so anytime while I am there over the next year. Together we can serve the desperate and determined Honduran youth, so that they in turn can be healed by God’s grace and transform the future of their country. Let’s be “[their] servants for Jesus' sake” (2 Cor. 4:5).
Thank you so much, to every one of you!
