OB Arsonist torched my classic MGB
Donation protected
At approximately 5:45 am on July 13, 2018 an arsonist in the Ocean Beach area torched my classic MGB convertible destroying 100% of the interior as well as the soft top and windshield. Sadly, I only had liability insurance.
This car was purchased in 1987 by my late father as a gift for my brothers and I. I managed to hold on to the car after all the years and in 2009, upon my fathers passing, I paid homage to him by completely restoring the car to mint condition. I did all the work myself which took me a little over 4 years to complete. It was a labor of love and a positive way to honor and grieve my Dad. In a matter of minutes the arsonists flame took that away. I wish to restore the interior and once again get this classic back on the road. It has immense sentimental value. When the news crews asked me how much it was worth I couldn’t even guess because I only saw it as a labor of love without a price tag. Please help if you can, much appreciated.
