Matthew Joyner Studio Project!!!

I've spent my life as a musician, and making music for the  Church. I spent 16 years leading contemporary worship in various places, traveling around the country giving performances,  and writing music in various styles.

A few years ago, I came into the Orthodox Church, and I fell in love with the theological depth of the hymns and writings of the Orthodox Faith. I have wanted, for a long time now, to be able to share this depth of the ancient words of the Church in a fresh way, and to expose the Orthodox Faith to people who do not know it. 

My hope is to raise funds to acquire equipment necessary to begin a small portable recording studio, in order to record new Orthodox Christain music, beginning with an album of my own brand new material which is based entirely on the hymns of the Church and the writings of the Church Fathers.

Further, I hope to not only record my own music, but also to encourage other Orthodox musical artists in their craft. 

I hope that this can be a joyful endeavor and a tool for the Church at large.
