Damn the man! Save OffBeat

Donation protected

On November 19th, we will hold a very special party at Offbeat (151 Wesley Ave) to raise funds to help our favorite shop and counter cultural gathering spot defeat the MAN once and for all.

The MAN is trying to hold Offbeat down with inflated ASCAP and SESAC music licensing fees that target small businesses. Further, Offbeat lost a business partner in the first year and needs to raise some money to pay some back debt off.

How can you help? It’s simple! Come to Offbeat on November 19th, pay the cover at the door (plus any other donation you’d like to make) and then enjoy the night. We’ll have music, food, special sales, contests, and more, with all proceeds going straight to Offbeat’s effort to take the MAN down once and for all.

OffBeat is a by product of Phillip Rollins who is better known as DJ Young Venom as part of his MBLI project to help enhance culture in his community. In the past 2 years OffBeat has been host to upcoming artists Adrienne Domnick, Justin Ransburg, and many more have had the opportunity to sell and display their artwork. Upcoming musicians Alfred Banks, Iman Omari, Mega Ran, and more. Even more so the space host weekly events from, gunpla building workshops, open mic comedy night, a comic book club.
