Officer Matt Humble needs our help!

Matthew Humble, Police Chief of Guthrie, Kentucky, is courageously fighting a battle with cancer and needs our help.  About 2 months ago, our dear friend Matthew started experiencing stomach pains that progressively got worse. He lost 30 pounds within a month, and had such severe pain and other symptoms that alarmed his family. After appointments with various specialists, many tests and procedures, on Sunday, September 16, 2018, Matthew was admitted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and diagnosed with Cancer.

Matthew’s family, and co-workers are in shock. This is not the diagnosis they were anticipating or hoping for, but they are ready to fight this with everything they have.  However, they know that they can't do this without their loving family, friends, and community.

At this point Matthew is still admitted to Vanderbilt and obviously cannot work. Because of this, he will experience a significant loss of income, along with medical expenses.

We are raising funds to support the Humble family for lost income, unexpected medical expenses, and any of the family's needs. If cancer has impacted you or someone you know and love in any way, then you understand the devastating impact it can cause on your life physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually and financially.

Every donation no matter the amount is appreciated. Matthew is an amazing father, son, and friend to all; he and his family truly deserve the world. His family also believes in the power of prayer. Therefore, we ask that you give in that way too. We know Matthew would do anything to help a friend or stranger in need alike, and we hope to collectively do the same for him.
