Give the Gift of Democracy

I originally set up this gofundme campaign to raise funds for medical treatment, but I am updating it to be a  fundraiser to support my writing  about healthcare and democracy.

I'll post some writing on my website by the end of the week (Dec 20). I will also post notifications about updated content via Facebook, maybe Twitter?, or by email upon request. I am also open to other suggestions.

I would additionally like to publish this material in a more formal context and would appreciate any connections to publishers / publications that you might have.

On a personal level, any contribution you might wish to make would also help to restore my faith in humanity. While I am thankful to have heat and running water, I have been through a number of highly unpleasant experiences and I have received a limited amount of personal support.

To the people who contributed to my initial medical campaign, I will forever appreciate this and may good karma pay you back in tenfold.
