Omar Bittar Memorial Fund

Omar was a beloved son and brother, a caring and generous friend, an amazing person - he touched so many people in so many different ways.   He was a graduate of LaGuardia's EMT program, and also graduated in 2014 with an Associate's in Business Management from LaGuardia. He worked as an EMT at TransCare with great professionalism and care for his patients and colleagues.  In pursuing his dreams, he was in training as a Paramedic student at LaGuardia when he passed away.  His absence is a great loss for all of us.

Omar was constantly positive, hard-working and raising people's spirits. He left this world too young and too soon. Please help remember him and support his family in this time of need and profound sorrow as they are faced with funeral costs while facing such unimaginable loss.

On behalf of the faculty and staff from LaGuardia Community College's Paramedic program, we are truly saddened and our condolences, support and prayers go out to his family, friends, loved ones and the EMS community.  We've set up this page in Omar's memory.

Omar has touched many lives, and in his memory let us continue with his inspiration, starting with taking care of his family and Omar, one last time.   Please help remember him and help support his family in their time of need and profound sorrow, as they are faced with the financial burden of mounting funeral expenses.
