We started this tradition in April of 2015 on first annual One Boston Day, and have raised over $4,000 for The police dogs of Massachusetts!
...this year we're continuing the tradition and hoping to raise a lot more for the MA police dogs! **Dr. Waggener is matching a portion of all donations!!!**

April 15th marks the third annual Boston tradition: One Boston Day. This day will be a celebration of the resiliency, generosity, and strength of the people that make Boston the great city it is.
We at South Boston Animal Hospital love Boston. We are proud to be part of the tight community that South Boston is. We find it extremely rewarding to give back to our amazing community of people and pets. One Boston Day celebrates our community as a whole and we are looking to reach and give thanks to not only our neighbors, but our local heroes as well.
In previous years we have raised over $4,000 and worked with Mass-Vest-A-Dog to get the MA police dogs ballistic vests and emergency care kits.
Help us in this year's campaign to raise even more money to continue to support Massachusetts Police dogs by helping provide bulletproof vests, essential equipment, training, and purchase of dogs for police / law enforcement K-9 programs throughout Massachusetts!
In addition to our online campaign, you can find us during One Boston Day, handing out dog waste bags, tennis balls, and treats to all of our neighbors and lovely patients while supplies last.
Don't forget -- we also have MA Vest-a-Dog calendars in our lobby for 2017. Suggested $10.00 donations. We are the only place in Boston that you can get these!
