Running 26.2 Miles for Opera!

This November 6th, 2016, I am running the NYC Marathon to raise money for Opera on Tap , an organization I co-founded, and one that is very dear to my heart.  This year we have accomplished incredible things as an organization.  We've transformed elementary school students into opera artists , created the world's first virtual reality opera, expanded our chapter program internationally, and continue to entertain our longtime fans at the bar.  Opera on Tap turns 10 years old this year, and I turned 40. Gulp.  Help me celebrate these milestones by contributing to my marathon drive today!

About Opera on Tap:

Born in the backroom of the famous Freddys Bar in Brooklyn, Opera on Tap ( OOT)  has grown from a few opera-singing friends who needed more opportunities to do what they love into a national movement. 

Currently active in 18 cities across the nation,  OOT programming includes high quality casual concerts of old and new classical works in alternative venues to concert halls, a Playground Opera program for elementary school children, and full productions of new operas commissioned by the organization.
