Operation Get Sam to Morgan

On behalf of my good friend Samantha Mensah, we would like to thank you for taking the time to listen to this cause.
Samantha, a 2018 high school graduate, had a large dream of hers become reality this summer. She was accepted into the nursing program at her first-choice school, Morgan State University, an HBCU (Historically Black College/University) located in Baltimore, Maryland. Unfortunately, Samantha recently discovered that said dream may not be coming true after all.
Samantha is a multifaceted young woman, and hasn’t only made plans to dedicate her life to helping people medically, but musically as well—she is a budding singer working on releasing her art to the public in the near future, if her situation allows. Not only has she made friendly, familial, and artistic ties here in Maryland, but she has worked tirelessly all four years of high school to ensure she would be able to carry out her future the way she planned. Packing up and moving to Massachusetts to attend a school without guaranteed admission in addition to leaving her relationships and her craft behind, would prove all her efforts to be futile.
Anyone who has spent the slightest amount of time with Samantha can attest to her big heart. Despite the arduous nature of her home life the past few years, she remains a person that is constantly giving and looking out for the best interests of others; now that she is in need, she more than deserves for the same kindness, compassion, and support to be gifted to her.
