Fight for Oshin

Donation protected
Meet Oshin, He is 6 yrs old...
Just before Christmas last year (2015), he was racing around, laughing & playing, like every other boy his age. Until he began vomiting regularly & his mum took him to their GP.
This is where the nightmare begins....
Oshin has Medulloblastoma; which is a fast growing, high grade, invasive brain tumour, which has also spread outside his brain.
He was admitted to hospital for brain surgery and returned home to recover and to be nurtured by his family. Oshin has two older sisters and his father has taken time of work, so the family could be together and provide the extra care that was now very much needed...
His mum was slowly building his system back up, with her extensive knowledge of natural therapies. Oshin was showing improvement...
The parents were looking into various specialised treatments available overseas, when the Oncologists presented them with their treatment protocol for Oshin.
This included nine months of aggressive, debilitating, toxic chemotherapy, followed up with radiation of his brain & spine...
The parents were understandably horrified. So when they were also told that he only had a 50% chance of surviving five years, with severe disabilities, if he survives the treatment at all... They denied consent.
What happened next has shocked many of us...
They were put on a watch list, forbidden to fly & silenced by court order. They were also told chemotherapy was to commence ASAP, without their consent.
They were given less than 48 hrs to find legal representation & chemo was scheduled 48hrs after court hearing.
This family has unknowingly found themselves at the forefront of a huge David & Goliath battle. One they are fighting for us all...
A fight for a right to chose treatment,
A fight for parental rights
A fight for freedom of speech
And of course, a fight for their sons life... To allow him to enjoy whatever precious time he has, with his family, where he is safe, loved & not afraid.
As you can imagine, everyday household costs for a family of five, plus ongoing legal fees is an insurmountable burden at a time like this. Any donations are extremely appreciated.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts...

With much love & gratitude xx
