Our Daddy found his Kidney!!

As the saying goes: "If we didn't have bad luck, we would have no luck at all." Although our lives are filled with many blessings, the past few years have been filled with major difficulties and "bad luck". Bill's illness (end stage renal disease/dialysis), multiple hospitalizations, losing his job and now I (Bill's wife) lost my job due to reduction in workforce. Blow after blow we've managed to stay positive and hope that our luck would turn around...

Well, after being on dialysis for 2.5 years, our efforts of finding a living donor came to fruition: Bill found his donor hero!! He will receive a transplant this summer!! We are very hesitant to ask for help, however the past few years have been difficult. 

One of which is financially, with medical bills and loss of Bill's income it's been difficult to keep up. Although, me losing my job will allow me to be home while Bill recovers from surgery it is difficult for us financially. We will accrue more hospital bills, will need pay his health insurance premiums, expensive medications which Bill will need to take the rest of his life as well travel expenses to the transplant center, and possibly extra childcare. We could really use extra help which will allow us to stay afloat while Bill recovers.
