Women's March Southern Oregon

We march in Medford, OR, on January 20, 2018, to celebrate the lives of women and promote solidarity among people of all genders, ages, races, cultures, political affiliations, disabilities and backgrounds. We announce our collective vision to use our vote to create a government that supports and represents our intersecting identities and the social justice and human rights issues that impact all of us.

​This is a non-partisan and peaceful event.

The organizers of the event include myself, Rhonda Lee, Jennifer Bacon, Samae Chlebowski and Sharon Dohrmann.  We organized last year's march in Ashland.  We're four concerned citizens who decided to bring the message and action of the Women's March to Southern Oregon.  All of the organizers of this march are unpaid volunteers.  We're using this GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of the event which includes  the permits, traffic plans, road closures and equipment to support the road closures, the police department,  portable toilets, sign language interpreters, chairs for the disabled, and event liability insurance.  We've set up a bank account exclusively for this event, which will be closed as soon as we've paid all our debts.
