Paddle Up For Parker

Everyone's beloved Jim Parker would never ask. But he needs our help after suffering a massive stroke on November 15, one week before Thanksgiving.
From Colorado to California, Washington, Oregon, and anywhere he has been, he has made lifelong friends along his journey. A newspaper man, a fixture in the craft beer industry, a jokester, inventor of totchos, ladies man, brother, father, friend, and cancer survivor, he is now a stroke survivor.
Please come together with us as we rally for his speedy recovery and return to the helm of his latest brewery project with Asher David Brewing and Cellarworks.
This amount may seem daunting, however, the first bill has arrived from Life Flight... for $50,000.00. Some expenses will be covered, some will not. These funds will be used to cover potions of his two week stay at OHSU and portions of his ongoing stay in a rehabilitation facility in Portland, Oregon. Additional expenses will include medical transportation and other incidentals until and after he is covered by Medicaid. Additionally, the family is open to rehabilitation methods being used in Europe which have not yet made it to the US, as well as other alternative therapies. Anything to get him back on his feet.
We have chosen to launch this Go Fund Me campaign today in concert with Jim’s 58th Birthday and an Appreciation Day Benefit being held in Jim’s honor at Belmont Station in Portland.
We will have complete transparency regarding the use of funds raised, with weekly updates and progress notes.
I would like to direct you to an article at brewpublic.com which gives us a glimpse into the many achievements of our beloved Jim Parker.
