Paige's Trip To France June 2015

Paige (who will be 16 in March) has the opportunity to go to France and Switzerland for 10 days in June 2015. This is the chance of a lifetime!
The total cost of the trip is $3,500 (before spending money). Paige raised the first $500 deposit herself, through allowance, chores, and saving birthday and Christmas checks from family members. She started saving for this over a year ago!
Paige and I made a deal that if she pays half, I'll pay half. So she has another $1,250 to go. Any funds raised through this site will go toward her portion.
She asked me to set up this site because she is asking that anyone who planned to get her a Christmas present or a birthday present do this instead. This isn't meant to pester friends and family to pay for the trip, but rather to give folks an opportunity to do this INSTEAD OF a gift.
We are very proud of her for already contributing so much and for being determined to cover half of the trip herself. Thank you in advance for considering this "alternate gifting" opportunity. Love to all!
