Painters for Peace

This campaign is dedicated to raising funds for the wife of Officer BJ Deen. 

My name is Collin Daley.  I did not know BJ well.  But I am very close to his father.  He is a painter in Hattiesburg Ms and I was his foreman for a number of years.  After hearing about the murder of his son....  I called a lot of painters to see if they would be willing to help paint his wife's home.  So far I have about a dozen volunteers who are offering their time free of charge.  "Hattiesburg Paint" store has offered to provide materials at cost.  We need donations to raise money for materials.  

Whatever shortfalls will be paid by myself and Dan Deen (BJ's father.)  I've been told the womans house is in rough shape.  And being a painter....  this is the best thing I can do to help.  It's amazing what a paint job will do to change the feel of someone's home.  When she wakes up in the morning and makes coffee she can do so in a freshly painted kitchen.  When she walks outside she'll be sitting on a freshly painted porch.  When her kids play in the yard it will be in front of a nice home.  Maybe doing so can help ease the burden and make her and her childrens lives a bit better.  I'm also contacting various other volunteers for landscaping etc but that will not be part of this fund.  

All donations will go to materials cost.  Labor is voluntary.  Anything  left over will be given to the wife of BJ Deen to help with bills etc.  Thank you and god bless.
